I'm going to adopt the "dime" system that so many of the other guys here on the site use. That way you can compare apples to apples.

10 dimes to 100 dimes. That's my scale.

And I'll go in 5 dime increments.

It's simple and obvious.

A 10 dime play is twice as strong as a 5 dime play.

A 50 dime play is 5 x bigger than a 10 dimer.

A 100 dimer is my highest rated play and twice as big as a 50 dimer.

Totals? I play them and you'll get them occasionally.

Parlays? Don't believe in them.

Teasers? Rarely, as in once in a blue moon.

TODAY'S COMP PLAY

This year's NIT Final will feature a pair of conference rivals who will be facing one another for the 4th time this season!

UAB and North Texas are Conference USA rivals who played their home-and-home games during the regular season and then also battled in the semifinals of the season-ending conference tournament. It should be noted that in 2 of those 3 meetings, including the last pair, the Over was the play.

In fact, 4 of the last 6 series meetings between these conference rivals have landed Over the posted price.

The Blazers do average 81.3 points per game, but have only landed Over the total in 1 of their last 5 games, and that was in Tuesday's semifinal win over Utah Valley that needed overtime to decide.

The Mean Green only allows 55.7 points per game, but 4 of their last 6 games played this year - including their conference tourney meeting against UAB - have played Over the posted price.

With these teams being more than familiar with one another, I will look for the baskets to be a little easier to come by for both teams and for the Over to be the play on Thursday in Las Vegas in this year's NIT Final.
